"Pick n Mix"

I love it when I get the chance to dress up.  Don't you?  The occasion; Baptism for my friend's baby boy, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  As you can see, rather than go for the conventional pretty dress, I decided to go for a trouser suit.  Cream linen mix boyfriend style blazer with Pistachio linen tapered trouser.  This jacket has been part of the collection for a very long time. I remember purchasing it from Principles.  Yes, Principles! Saturday afternoons strolling round their shop and even Wallis with Mum obviously taught me a thing or two in my early years.  The trousers were an absolute bargain during a vintage shopping trip.  Hanging around in my dressing room for some time before I took this opportunity to wear them. They fit perfectly. The light and airy material keeping me cool on a summers day.  A simple low cut back top and a pair of barely there sandals finished off this tailored look nicely.
